Happy Halloween!

 

I just want to take some time to wish everybody near and far a Happy Halloween. I realize many of our players here don't live in America or other areas of the world that happen to celebrate the holiday, but I wish to extend my thanks for them for taking part in our Halloween events and celebrations that have been held on the server. 

I also want to take some time to thank the few people who joined us for the scary movie nights we've had (almost) every Saturday this month. Some of you really enjoyed the movies and many of them were movies you never seen before. It's always a pleasure to introduce people to the movies that I had growing up.

So everybody have a safe Halloween, and watch a scary movie or two tonight. We'll be doing this plus more next year.

A Halloween Fight

Today another proud Halloween event, was held today, there was a race, and Mortal Kombat. The races were two laps and it was close ending! Two people died during the race, but in the end victors were decided. The mortal kombat was interesting, people fought to the death to win prizes and they were entertaining to watch. In the end the victors whisked away the prizes on this nightly fright fight!

A New Day, A new Race.

The second race of the Halloween events kicked off to a bumpy ride, due to one player had to drop out because of hunger, But when the Second lap comes to they start to bump and shove! Come down to it we had one winner, but they all did a good job! Congratulations!

**NEW! Battlefield 3 Launch Trailer and Our Server

Battlefield 3 is launching tomorrow in the US and Canada, Thursday in Denmark, Finland, Netherlands, Germany, Austria, France, Spain, Russia, Norway, Sweden, Australia, and New Zealand, and Friday in the UK, Poland, Czech Republic, Italy, and Belgium. We're currently working to get our Battlefield 3 Ranked Server up and running within the next few days. The information for the server will be posted when the server is ready. Scheduled Server Maintenance at 1:00 PM EST

There will be a scheduled server maintenance occuring at 1:00 PM EST today, Monday, October 10th. Server will be offline during this time. The maintenance should take no longer than thirty minutes. The maintenance involves updating server software and plugins. The maintenance is strictly server related; no gameplay changes will be made. If there are any delays, it will be announced here.

1.9 Pre-Release 3...

Yes folks, there is yet another Pre-Release floating around, they are saying this is the "final" release. Before the final version of 1.9 goes live. So far potions have been confirmed though it looks like a lot of the features implemented here are still not done. Honestly I'm debating the point as to adding something to the game when it's not even done.

Notice of Resignation -- AydiaFaith

Dear Exiled Gaming Community,

I regret to inform you that one of our Administrators, AydiaFaith, is no longer with us. She has formally and voluntarily resigned, and has been relieved of her duties as a Minecraft Administrator as of October 5, 2011 11:00 PM. She has voluntarily resigned from her position due to her inability to carry out her duties at this time. AydiaFaith is currently preoccupied with handling personal issues that will remain confidential until she reaches a point in time at which she feels comfortable with disclosing the information. The resignation may be temporary or may be permanent. More information will be shared as it is made available. We all wish her the best and hope to see her again in the future.
